Croeso! Welcome to Lletty Cottage a lovely five star holiday cottage for two in Carmarthenshire

March 1st St David’s Day March 1, 2009

After a busy week trying to sort out the garden most of the borders now have  been tickled over! There was so much to do after the cold weather and so many plants have  died that it’s taken much longer than normal to tidy things  up.

The hazel catkins are all out in the hedgerows and the tree buds are getting fatter..Spring is definitely coming. However, the forecasters say that next week is returning to cold and wet! 09-feb-our-garden-002

Vegetable plot all tidied up with  new gravel path. The rest of the gravel paths will be added later when energy returns!

Front garden border with hellebores just coming into flower. On the bank in the background Cornus cuttings have been stuck in ground- hopefully they will root and look attractive in the winter months.
