Woke up today to  more snow!

Our   visitors were leaving to return home and they remarked on the many types of weather that they had experienced  during  their week  staying at Lletty Cottage: snow, fog, sleet, ice, rain but mostly cold and SUNNY!

The snow had melted by lunchtime and everywhere was bathed in beautiful sunshine so we decided on a visit out. We went to Kidwelly Castle – 40 mins drive from the cottage. The castle is magnificent – so much to see and well preserved.

After enjoying our walk around the Castle and strolling along the banks of the river we returned to our car and drove up the coast to Ferryside. Ferryside is a small village on the Towy estuary it’s  across the water from Llanstephan.  It has a railway station with  HST request stops for trains running between  Paddington  and Fishguard.

A walk along the sand in February sunshine was wonderful
