After our visitors left today we went to Llangadog to the recycling centre- a fantastic well organised , clean and very friendly place.
Afterwards we went on into Llangadog to buy the paper and do a bit of shopping in the wonderful County Stores and the butcher and on returning home we had a coffee and read the paper.
Later after preparing the cottage for new visitors tomorrow I decided to go for a walk up the village and gather some blackberries for freezing. The weather yesterday was shocking with heavy downpours and the road was covered with debris from all the water running down the hill.
Llansadwrn is a mile walk up the hill from Lletty Cottage- it is a lovely village with a beautiful church. Standing in the churchyard one has spectacular views over the surrounding countryside especially towards the Carmarthen Fans.
Just watched Last Night of the Proms- so feeling very uplifted thought I’d write up this Post and share my day with any readers! Next post will be about Waterfalls. Our lovely visitors who left today have enjoyed lots of walks including up Pen Y Fan. However, they enjoyed their waterfall walks best so I’ll tell you about the walks near here to see waterfalls.
