Scarecrows!

The weather forecast was good so that means …make the most of it  and get out on another visit!

We joined the National Trust again earlier this year as we are lucky to have Dinefwr Park in Llandeilo  and the Gold Mines nearby   so we can visit when we wish. We hadn’t been to Llanerchaeron for a while and it is less than an hours drive away….so off we went!

The Lake

We went all around the house which was so interesting and we chatted to lots of the visitors, who were on holiday from all over the place. They all said how lucky we were to live so close to sucha fantastic property and garden.

The walled garden

Piglets in the farm

There are new walks all through the woodland areas by the river which now has a lovely bridge to cross to the other side.

We had a lovely visit  and finshed the afternoon by having coffee  and cake in the tea room…deeeelicious!

Lovely photos…can’t remember visiting. If we did it was some time ago so must visit.

Thanks Wendy…it’s well worth a visit. Next time we go we’re going to walk from Llanerchaeron to Aberaeron and have chips on the quay and then walk back to get rid of the fat!

  2. It looks like a fabulous place to spend a day relaxing, you are lucky to live so close to it.
