February 19th Snowdrop Walk in Sunshine February 19, 2013

What a wonderful day today. The sun was shining and it wasn’t raining! I’m always very happy when the weather is being kind  when we have visitors in the cottage. I always feel it is my fault if it’s raining and blowing outside. But today the visitors were very happy and set off to visit Carreg Cennen castle. Meanwhile we decided to go for a walk  up the road and round down onto Abermarlais Park. This is the Park where the Bosworth Stone stands at the entrance (explanation in an earlier blog)

This is our favourite circular walk and you can see why as we walk through  lanes, woods, fields, over bridges and see all these lovely sights.Fingers crossed the weather stays fine for a bit longer…please!

Really enjoyed looking at your photographs. The fungi you saw is called Scarlet Elf Cup or if you want to impress Sacroscypha coccinea!!
