I’m just getting used to it so I’m snapping everything in sight at present. We had a wonderful family outing ( to see the twins and our other grandson) to Wisley at the weekend. It was all wonderful. The spring flowers were out in full bloom and the butterfly exhibition was fantastic. Note: You can’t take photos in a glasshouse when there are butterflies fluttering around as it is too warm and the lens fogs up!
This particular display in one border caught my eye as it was so stunning. A border of black lilyturf Ophiopogon (Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’ black mondo) with their stunning black leaves interplanted with snowdrops. I’m going to try that with my border of Ophiopogon!
Back to work now in the water feature that is our garden! We have frog spawn on our lawn in a beautiful ‘new’ pond!
