Today, for Christmas, I was going to post some beautiful photos of the garden with all the grasses and plants covered in sparkling frost but sadly there has been no frost just rain and more rain. Thus leaving the garden a sad, sodden and definitely wet place. Nevertheless, I ventured forth whilst we had a brief spell of dryness and unbelievably a ray of sunshine appeared …..just one but what a relief!
Outside the woodshed
The pond getting very full! It drains off to a second pond which is also getting very full!
I like the tree reflections in our window
This squirrel has been in our family for over 70 years and moved from my grandparent’s garden in Milford Haven then to the Mumbles, in my parent’s garden and now to our garden – I love it!
The front garden with a moat around the border!
View over to the Carmarthen Fans from the garden- no snow on them …yet!
Robin singing carols
A very wet but warm welcome awaits all visitors at Christmas time.
No snowdrops in the garden but daffodils flowering away happily- much confusion in the borders!
It’s always lucky to make a wish on a full moon and tonight with the sky bright with the full moon I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2016.
